Arrive with ease and start your stay relaxed – that’s exactly what we want to offer our guests at Marias Platzl Hotel. For this reason, we’ve further developed our check in process and now provide a self check in station right in our lobby – easy to use and located just to the left of the entrance.

For those who prefer personal assistance: Our team is, of course, still here for you at any time and now welcomes guests – this is new as well – in the dining area of our adjoining tavern, Ayinger in der Au.

Snacks & small treats for a delightful start

A new and particularly convenient feature – especially on the tavern’s closing days (Mondays and Tuesdays) – is our freshly stocked snack display at check‑in.

Inside, guests will find a selection of lovingly prepared treats: from Josefa’s Guglhupf and fresh ginger shots to hearty Bavarian classics like Wurstsalat and Obazda in Weck jars, as well as warm, crispy croissants and focaccia straight from the contact grill. The selection is complemented by fresh pretzels at the counter. Whether sweet, savoury, or simply a quick bite after a long journey – there’s something for every taste.

With this, we offer our guests a touch of Bavarian hospitality the moment they arrive – easy, thoughtfully curated, and accessible at any time.

By combining self check‑in with a small but refined assortment of snacks and drinks, we aim to provide our guests with an even more personal, flexible, and warm start to their stay.
