For conference to be successful, the whole setting has to be in synch. The location of our conference hotel right in the center of Munich allows for a wide variety of cultural and enjoyable fringe event options, such as a guided tour of the Ayinger Brewery just outside the city.

Munich is known not only for its Oktoberfest and other tourist attractions, but also for the many big-name trade fairs, conferences and conventions.
Our conference hotel and event location makes for a perfect starting point, when you are in Munich for business. There are eight different event and conference spaces available to you. Depending on the number of participants, we offer you the appropriate event room. You can also book a complete conference package to get an event as convenient as possible.
Located in the heart of the old town, our Munich conference hotel is very close to many great tourist attractions. Marienplatz is just a five minutes’ walk away, and from there you can quickly and easily get to the main areas of the city on public transport.

- Airport: 45 minutes
If you arrive in your own car, there are parking spaces available in the underground car park (fee based).
MUNICH CONFERENCE HOTEL: FEEL THOUROUGHLY AT HOME
In addition to the event spaces, the hotel has a total of more than 166 rooms and a suite, which were all completey refurbished the beginning of 2017. The rooms are now decorated in a contemporary Munich style, combining modern elements with traditional accents, and offer you the greatest possible comfort. Of course, the entire establishment has fast WiFi, as well as a LAN connection in the rooms. For conferences, we recommend you book rooms which are arranged around the courtyard of our event hotel, as they ensure a particularly high level of peace and relaxation.
PURE RELAXATION IN THE MOORISH KIOSK
After a strenuous day of work, the relaxation area of the conference hotel is a real godsend. Named after King Ludwig II’s Moorish kiosk, you can find a fitness room, sauna, steam bath and quiet room here. Enjoy a break from everyday life on the fifth floor of our event location in Munich.

Of course, your culinary needs are also well catered for at our event location in Munich. Treat yourself to some delicious food in one of the hotel’s own restaurants or end your day harmoniously in our hotel bar.
The Wirtshaus Ayinger awaits you with hearty Bavaria dishes and palatable specialty beers from the Ayinger brewery. You can enjoy sophisticated regional cuisine with a strong focus on craftsmanship at Restaurant Pfistermühle. Our cozy Josefa Bar & Kaffee and the charming Platzl Karree Boden & Bar invite you in for a delicious cocktail or relaxing hours at the end of your event.
What equipment do the premises offer?
Furniture
All our conference rooms have their own furniture. If you wish to customise the room, we will be happy to obtain a quote from our external supplier for hired furniture. The tables are 180x80cm / 180x40cm.
Technical equipment
Projector & screen or flatscreen, 1 flipchart, 1 pin board, Bose sound system (some with microphone connection), free Wi-Fi throughout the building.
Beamer connection: Partly different from room to room. Connection via VGA / HDMI / Click-Share is usually possible. For the Marktplatzl room, a beamer and screen can be requested from our external service provider Mediatec.
Mixer connection: XLR connector, no connecting cables available.
Each room is also equipped with air conditioning and an OZONS air purifier.
Atmosphere
All of our meeting rooms have natural light.
Where do the lunch breaks take place?
To liven up your event, we can organise lunch as part of your conference package, either in our Pfistermühle restaurant, our Wirtshaus Ayinger am Platzl restaurant, on the Marktplatzl square or, on request, as a standing buffet in the function room you have booked. This allows you to take advantage of a wide range of culinary options and a pleasant atmosphere, especially for events lasting several days. The choice of location depends on the booking situation.

- With unlimited Adelholzener water still/ sparkling, as well as 1 coffee or tea speciality
PLATZL Half Day Culinary Package
- Adelholzener water still/ sparkling unlimited in the room
- 1 break with coffee specialities, Bioteaque teas and
- 2 snacks savoury/ fruity or sweet of the chef's choice (30 min. each)
- Lunch (menu) with seasonal dishes at the chef's choice
- With unlimited Adelholzener water still/ sparkling, and 1 coffee or tea speciality
Based on these packages, we will be happy to create a tailor-made offer to suit your needs.
How far in advance do I need to book my PLATZL venue?
This also depends on the event and the time of year. We have been able to accommodate requests for the following day, but during busy periods we do require a longer lead time. If you are booking a larger event with e.g. evening events or hotel rooms, this will also require a higher effort and should be requested at least 2-4 weeks before the event.
