Suites in the Platzl Hotel

The understated luxury of our new suites and junior suites has instant appeal. Furnished with loving attention to detail when it comes to both materials and function, the rooms range from 28 m² to 62 m² in size. They radiate calm and provide a private heaven away from the hustle and bustle of the old town - tight in the heart of Munich.

"At home at the Pfisters" - this is our motto for the 13 new suites in the Pfistermühle, whose completion is planned for August 2024 after extensive renovation work. Our new junior suite, named "Gesellenstück", or "Journeyman's Piece" is a 35 m² space where we proudly present the final design of this new suite product. It showcases the originality, design and functionality we have planned for our new rooms, encompassing different aspects of craftmanship. The new interior design is the work of the DREIMETA design studio, whose designers have already refitted the Pfistermühle, the Marias Platzl Hotel and our Ayinger in der Au tavern with loving attention to detail. 

Our new "Mehlkammer" is a second junior suite that is the inspiration for the future Pfistermühle suites and a new era at the Platzl Hotel. 

Just like in the Pfistermühle guest rooms, we have used wood panelling made of whitewashed solid oak, a surface that represents a white, flour-covered space as a reminder of the building's origins as a traditional bakery. 

Bavarian shell limestone and clay plaster add structure to the wall and celebrate the beauty of the original space. Thoughtful details, such as leather-covered coat hooks, forged nails and lampshades made of coarse linen, are a nod to Bavarian craftsmanship. The room's special feature is a premium bed (model 2000T) made by the exclusive Hästens brand - hand-made of the finest natural materials and combined with high-quality eiderdown duvets - for an unmistakable sleep experience.
