Recreation in the Moorish Kiosk like King Ludwig II
Fascinated by the magnificence of the Orient, King Ludwig II purchased the Moorish Kiosk, which he had first seen nine years prior during his visit to the World Fair in Paris, in 1876. He had it set up in the park of the Linderhof castle.

The recreation area on 5th floor of the Platzl Hotel is furnished based on this model and includes a sauna, turkish steam bath, as well as a separate room with fitness equipment all free of charge to our guests.

The Moorish Kiosk recreation area is divided into three areas:
- Fitness room: Treadmill and bicycles
- Wet area: Sauna, aroma steam bath, footbath and experience showers
- Rest area: Heat bench, light therapy
Opening hours
Fitness room and rest area: daily from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.
Sauna, steam bath: monday to friday from 3.45 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.,
weekends and bank holidays from 9.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.
