Streetlife Festival

On September 13th and 14th, two of the busiest streets in Munich will again be swept free of cars. The reason is the Streetlife Festival. Munich’s citizens and visitors alike transform Leopold and Ludwig Street between Odeon Square and Triumphal Arch into a pedestrian zone. Here, up to 300,000 visitors are expected, making the Streetlife Festival the biggest street party in the Isar metropolis.
Look forward to the colorful hustle and bustle, in which sustainable mobility, climate change and urban design are celebrated. The many roadside stands provide valuable information and satisfy you with culinary delights. You will also be entertained! Artists perform their tricks on small stages as well as on the street itself and often encouraged visitors to participate. Variety is offered, as well as sustainability. The entire event is organized by the environmental organization Green City in connection with the Department of Health & Environment, as it has been for twelve years. At Streetlife, visitors can casually participate in sustainable mobility and an environmentally conscious lifestyle without forgetting to have fun.

The staff of the Platzl Hotel wishes you a successful, entertaining festival full of attractions!
